Stephen Paris
Steve has more than 30 years of experience in sales, operations, strategic planning and general management with market leading companies in golf management, consumer goods and restaurants.
Prior to founding Regent Golf, Steve was Senior Vice President/Chief Operations Officer for American Golf Corporation where he was responsible for a $325MM portfolio of 115 private country clubs and daily-fee golf courses in 18 states and the UK. Steve led the financial turnaround of the entire American Golf portfolio by upgrading management teams, launching revenue driving initiatives, improving all functional processes and investing in property improvements.
Prior to American Golf Corporation, Steve held a number of executive positions at PepsiCo (Pepsi USA, Pepsi Bottling Group, Pepsi-Cola International and Pizza Hut) and Triarc Restaurant Group.
Steve graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the Moore School of Business.
Darrell van Ligten
Darrell has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, finance, business development and general management at multi-nationals, turnarounds and early stage start-ups.
Prior to founding Regent Golf, Darrell was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Operation Services for American Golf Corporation where he oversaw marketing, sales, merchandising, food and beverage, operation services and purchasing. Darrell restructured key corporate functions and developed revenue strategies for more than 250 private country clubs and daily-fee golf courses which turned around company performance and generated a 40% internal rate-of-return for investors.
Previously, Darrell held executive positions in brand management, strategic planning, concept development and operations at leading consumer companies such as Yum! Brands, Toys R Us and PepsiCo.
Darrell graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Engineering from the Moore School of Electrical Engineering.
Anthony Mullins
Anthony brings extensive golf industry experience to Regent Golf as a PGA professional, club operator, consultant and private club board member.
Prior to founding Regent Golf, Anthony ran his own consulting practice and advised private club ownership groups and boards in the areas of club reorganization, finance, operations, customer service, training, capital improvements and membership products.
Previously, Anthony spent over 12 years in direct golf club operations where he held positions such as Assistant Golf Professional, Head PGA Professional/Director of Golf and General Manager at various daily-fee, resort and private clubs, including Director of Operations for the Augustine Golf Club, a Golf Magazine Top 100 Club.
Anthony continues to play competitive golf and recently regained his amateur status after being a PGA Class A Member for seven years. He has competed in US Open and PGA Tour event qualifiers, multiple Georgia and Virginia State Opens, the Atlanta Open and the Crown Royal Golf Championships. He also played on the Space Coast Tour (now Golden Bear Tour) and the Florida Junior Tour.
Anthony holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Finance from Liberty University, graduated from the U.S. Naval Nuclear Power Engineering School and served as a Nuclear Engineer in the U.S. Navy. |
